A great few hours were had by all. As I am sure you are aware, this event is for all arms, so we had troops from 6 R Anglian and 1 R Anglian, REME, Signals, and more. Please invite anyone to next year's event (date to follow as soon as I have it).
The day is very short in that the "parade" is a very short "hobble" next to the Cathedral and then inside for the service. Your choice then for a pre-paid tea or straight to the Minster Tavern.
Either way, plenty of time to swing that lamp and see people you may not have seen for years.
Please make an effort to be at this event next year on behalf of the men who suffered at the hands of the Japanese in WWII.
Thank you.
